The founder of P.C. Richard & Son, Peter Christi n Richard, immigrated to the United States from Holland in 1889 at the age of 18. P.C. Richard & Son is a home appliance, consumer electronics and computer retailer. The company was originally established as a hardware store in 1909. The store later expanded to offer electric irons, toasters, refrigerators and washers. Eventually, P.C. Richard & Son became an appliance and electronics superstore in Farmington, N.Y. The company s products include air conditioners, ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, microwaves, washers and dryers, dishwashers, grills, wine coolers, freezers, vacuums, steam cleaners, coffee machines, humidifiers, smoke alarms, televisions, entertainment centers, DVD and VCR players, cameras, camcorders, home and car audio products, computer and home office equipment and portable electronics.
