I have done business with DeGrood's Mobil for several years now. I used to go to Kwik Trip because they were on the way. One day it was real busy so I swung over to DeGrood's. I have not gone back to KT since other than for ATM services. I found the majority of their products cost less, they offer a lot of items that the others don't and when you spend more than $400 a month on fuel and road supplies, getting the same beverage for $.80 - $1 compared to the $1.50 to $1.80 you are going to spend at KT, it's a no brainer. Besides, Mobil is a local, family owned business, not some cookie cutter outfit from out of state so the majority of what I spend there stays in the community.Also, this is rather abstract, but I like their gas better. My trucks seems a little "happier" somehow (better mileage and a noticeable difference between KT and Mobil gasoline). I know I am.

I start every day with these guys. I could just as easily go to one of the chain convenience stores but have discovered that the pricing is better here, the service is always top shelf and it still has that local mom & pop comfort to it. Since gas prices in this town NEVER differ from one station to the next, the draw is the all I've mentioned above. Terrific people there. One other thing is that I have found most of their product prices to actually be lower than the chain convenience stores and fresher.
