I had a very bad experience with this company regarding an applicatiion for refinancing my reverse mortgage. I had decided to apply based on what turned out to be a wildly unrealistic estimate by a Slade salesman regarding the worth of my home on Cape Cod. AFter spending hundreds of dollars for reverse mortgage counseling ($200) and having to change the deed to my home ($275), Slade subsequently informed me that, based on the professional appraisal (which came back $145,000 lower than Slade's estimate), they would not refinance the mortgage)!!!

This is the second time we have used Slade Mortgage, and we couldn't be happier. Mike and his staff are professional, prompt and eager to please. They made our refinancing process simple and easy, especially in this economy. They were always available to answer our questions and walked us through every step of the process.
