- ImmunizationsFirst, it is vitally important to select the right drug when treating all types of infections. Bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites can resist the impact of one drug but become vulnerable under the influence of another one. Health advisors warn about the danger of self-treatment because of these factors. Second, many infections can be prevented thanks to vaccinations. Patients should consult a specialist about what vaccines are available and what infections are typical for the geographical region they live in. On-time vaccination can save your life.
