      General Info
      Robert Kelly, M.D. is an Ophthalmologist, Retina Specialist & Cataract Surgeon at Center for Sight who provides comprehensive eye care such as eye exams, cataract surgery & lens implants, as well as specialized diagnosis & treatment of retina diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration (AMD). As a medical retina specialist he performs advanced retinal imaging studies, including fluorescein angiography and ocular coherence tomography (OCT) as well as using retinal laser treatments and Vascular Endothelial Growth Inhibitor (VEGF) Injections such as Lucentis®, Eyelea® and Avastin®. Dr. Kelly earned his Medical Degree at NYU School of Medicine and then completed a Residency in Ophthalmology followed by a Fellowship in Medical Retina at NYU Medical Center. Dr. Kelly is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Additionally, he is a member of the New England Ophthalmologic Society, the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the Rhode Island Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the Fall River Medical Society.
