I wish I could give them zero stars.

I submitted a quote through their website for chiavari chair rentals for a wedding. I didn't hear back for a couple of days so I called and spoke with David out of the Syracuse store. He was very friendly and offered me a discount on the chairs. I told him I would call back after speaking with my mother to make sure I could book it. THANK GOODNESS I WAITED. The next day I received the quote from the Rochester store. The delivery fee was HALF of what David quoted me ($450 versus $900). I thought maybe he had made a mistake so I called him back. He said the emailed quote I received was incorrect and that the woman who sent it "didn't know where they were being delivered to." The address was at the TOP OF THE QUOTE! I told him I'd have to think about it.

Then I had my fiance fill out a quote online with the chairs and a bunch of linens. I had him put in that they were to be delivered to a venue 20 minutes away from ours so it wouldn't be too obvious. His quote had a delivery fee of $500. I purposely called the Rochester store today so I could speak with someone new, but after explaining my issue they put me on hold while transferring me to David. I told him about the new quote and he said he would have to call me back. When he called back he told me that he would honor the cheaper delivery fee but not the discount on the chairs OR I could have the discount on the chairs and the higher delivery fee. He couldn't seem to see why I had a problem with that. You're giving me a "discount" but then secretly adding it back in for delivery? No thanks. What a dishonest company. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

*update* - I found a company that is only going to charge $100 for delivery AND the chairs are cheaper! I am SO glad I walked about from this "deal."

Thumbs down times 100. I actually don't want any stars!

I sadly rented a machine for my business that didn't work for me. I had called right away to let them know I was

having a problem. I was told

someone would get back to

me. I was called 12:30 the next day and told I could drive to Gates - from Fairport to pick up a different machine. My event started at 10 am that day. It takes at least 3 hours for the machine to get the product ready and my event ended at 6:00. Really! I asked for a refund. The staff was helpful. The owner called the next day and is refusing to refund any of my money. This is a unacceptable. My family has rented from them for years. Needless to say I will never rent from them again, nor will I ever refer anyone to them again. Too bad. It is sad.

I have used Hank Parker for years and have always been 110% thrilled with their professionalism, friendliness and amazing selection of items. They will even order new items for your event. They are great to work with and dependable.

Happy to have them at the top of my list for any event!

Called them twice. First time,...

Called them twice. First time, it rang and and rang and rang. Got a hold of someone who put me on hold and then the line went dead. Called back, asked if I could order 200 Chiavari chairs and two couches for my wedding, and they said they would have to call me back. WTF? So I wait. And wait. And Wait. Two weeks later, no call back. So I go to their website and fill out an online quote. Wait one day. No call. Two days. No call. A week. No call. I go back to their website and fill out another online quote. I've now been waiting for another 3 days and no call.



This company apparently does not want my $2,000 order. Would NOT recommend. Other rental companies called me back immediately.

Great selection and EXCELLENT service!!

I have everything nice to say about Hank Parkers Rental. I had a large high end event that I was planning. With the help of the staff at Hank Parker's my event was a fabulous success! All that attended were raving about how gorgeous everything was.



The staff was very helpful recommending based on their experience items I should rent for my event. Needless to say, I recommend Hank Parkers to everyone. They have by far have the largest selection of rental items in New York. The staff went out of their way for me, making me feel very special which is impressive.



Next time you need to rent items call Hank Parker's Rental!
