The Fairfield Public Works Department is responsible for the management of the city s infrastructure. Its construction services division provides design, review, inspections and project management services for public works infrastructure projects. The department s street division offers a range of repair and maintenance services for city-owned streets, storm drains and catch basins. It also offers asphalt overlaying, roadside mowing, and street sweeping and landscaping services. In addition, the department conducts various snow removal and waste management programs. The Fairfield Public Works Department is also responsible for the delineation of wellhead protection areas, groundwater monitoring, and management and contingency planning. Additionally, it educates public regarding storm water quality and pollution prevention measures. The department is located in Fairfield, Ohio.
