Bornstein Sons did major work for us in 1990 (new forced air heat and air conditioning), and we haven't had any problems with it. Over the years, they have been our go-to place for any plumbing repairs. Most recently (June 2011), they replaced our analog thermostat with a new digital, programmable one. Their technicians are knowledgeable and helpful. They are always punctual and reliable - and you can expect quality work from them.

Bornstein Sons has serviced my home since I purchased it 6 years ago. When I moved in my home had an extremely old air conditioning unit. Though I moved in at the end of the summer I could tell the machine was on it's last leg as it tried it's best to churn out cool air. My energy bills were extremely high those first few months and Bornstein Sons came to the rescue and educated me on a new energy efficient unit that would not only save me money on my energy bill but was more environmentally friendly. Their staff is extremely friendly and are true experts in their field. I have recommended them to several of my friends who have all called to thank me!

Get credit for responding to emergencies but charge highest end prices. Needed a drain snaked out on a Sunday - they did the job and charged over $300 to do the repair which took less than 15 minutes - the worker who performed the work couldn't believe how much was charged.

Outstanding, prompt service. We had been told by another firm that we needed a whole new boiler for over $8,000.00. The owner of Bornstein showed up personally for the estimate. He found the pressure device wire to have come off. The man fixed it on the spot, charged us nothing! What a professional! These are the people to use!
