Air Fleet Training Systems, the only Cessna Pilot Center and FAR Part 141 school within easy public transportation reach of New York City, has been training pilots from around the World since 1991. The most experienced and reliable flight school at Essex County Airport in Fairfield, New Jersey. Air Fleet Training Systems owns, operates and maintains the youngest aircraft fleet in the US Northeast. The school has state-of-the-Art FAA Approved Flight Simulators and Aviation Training Devices (Redbird and Frasca). Air Fleet Training Systems is a member of many Associations including Flight School Associations including Flight School Association of North America, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.

I began my PPL almost three months ago and met with several schools before choosing Air Fleet, but am happy that I chose to go with Air Fleet! The school is directly on the tarmac, they have a great selection of well maintained aircraft and the instructors are professional, knowledgeable and all very helpful! I never feel like they're just take my money and will help make the experience enjoyable and memorable. If you are considering which school to go with in the NY are take a look!
After visiting other schools at Caldwell airport, I decided to start my Private with Air Fleet in G1000 Cessna-172 airplane. Great school. Very professional instructors. New planes. Adequate management. I want to thank everyone at Air Fleet for memorable experience and for the high quality training at the very afford rate. (by the way, I have recommended your flight school to my two co-workers)
I'm an international student who came from the middle east to study here for PPL, IR & CPL. Air Fleet Training Systems is very sincere flight school because they give more importance in making you a good pilot (in the shortest possible time) than making money. Their flight school is very neat & clean with all the facilities & services needed for a student pilot. The aircraft's are very well maintained & most importantly SAFE because of their in-house fleet maintenance. Their instructors are very professional, experienced & patient with their students.
Great school! When my son wanted to learn to fly, my biggest concern was safety. Air Fleet Training Systems has great instructors whom you can trust. The school has the newest planes in the area. When you want to choose the best school, always ask how old the airplanes are. This makes a BIG difference!
