My wife and I started taking 45 minute beginner lessons about 4 years ago and now hae worked up to more advance lessons. There is never any pressure to sign a long term contract and everyone is very friendly. We now take a half hour lesson during the week and that comes with an hour lesson on Friday for a total of $40. Folks are welcome to stay for two hours of open dancing after that, which includes fresh fruit, cheese and punch. The additional 2 hours costs $7 each, so $14 for us when we choose to stay. These folks are in the business for the joy of dancing rather than the desire for significant profit.

The dance studio also arranges cruises and outings that are available to all who are willing to participate. The atmosphere is very friendly and I would recommend this to anybody looking for a place to learn to ballroom dance.

Fun Place to Learn and Dance: I contacted In Step School of Dance to take some Salsa lessons 10 years ago and went for class with absolutely no idea how to dance - I could barely move my hands and feet! Once I went in there I found the instructors to be very helpful, patient, very knowledgeable and practical. I was getting out in the dance floor and dancing in a few weeks. I have started taking ball room lessons too and I just love the place. It is fun, unintimidating, friendly and you never feel like you are a beginner - everyone dances with you at their friday night parties.If you want to learn to do ball room dancing I strongly recommend In Step!

Warm, welcoming environment, really good dance instructors. I went there the first time with a friend and felt very comfortable right away. Now I am a regular and am looking forward to the next class. Really nice for both singles and couples.Robert
