BEWARE: People here are willing to make the sale, but not willing to help you out. I started a new wireless contract at this location. The salesperson input my social security number incorrectly into the system, so I was unable to complete porting my telephone number. I was told to go to an actual location with a valid id to fix the error and complete the port. When I went in the sales person said I needed my social security card.



You DO NOT need a social security card to open an account, but if they screw up, AT THIS LOCATION, you then have to return with a social security card. I asked for the manager and he told me the same thing. They did not bother to call customer service, they were just eager to get me out of the door. I called customer service, and they resolved the issue after they confirmed that I went into the AT&T store with a valid id. This store did not try to call customer service. They were not even being reasonable. I could have cancelled my contract, because it was within 30 days, and opened a brand new account WITHOUT my social security card.



This place wants the sale and they want your money. If they screw up they will give you the run around.
