Consolidated Sand & Gravel is a part of Beatrice Concrete Company, which operates various ready-mix plant facilities throughout southeastern Nebraska. Founded in 1944, Beatrice Concrete Company produces sand, gravel and crushed rocks. It has a staff of more than 70 individuals. The company sells slag, admixtures, cattle feed bunks, hog slats, bumper blocks and pipe supports. It offers fiber reinforcement solutions. The company provides concrete equipment on a rental basis. It works in affiliation with The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America, as well as the American Concrete Institute, Nebraska Concrete and Aggregates Association, and National Ready Mixed Concrete Association.
