Founded in 2006, Renaissance Elementary School creates a strong foundation for developing and educating lifelong learners. Its core curriculum includes math, social studies, science and reading. The school s counseling department assists in the development of academic and social skills and conducts classroom lessons on character education, friendship, safety, career exploration and conflict resolution. Its media center offers a collection of books, magazines and newspapers. The school s parent-teacher association organizes several fundraisers to support campus activities. Renaissance Elementary School also publishes a semimonthly newsletter that features information on upcoming cultural and academic events. Located in Fairburn, Ga., the school has an enrollment of more than 950 students in prekindergarten through grade five.
