Family Counseling Service, a division of Children's Aid and Family Services, provides comprehensive therapeutic counseling and crisis intervention programs for families in northern New Jersey. The services offered by the center enable children and adults of all ages to solve individual difficulties, improve their relationships, and engage in healthy family dynamics. Family Counseling Service offers more than 30 experienced counselors. Its team of professionals includes licensed clinical social workers, a clinical nurse practitioner, certified alcoholism counselors, board-certified child and adult psychiatrists, family life educators, geriatric specialists, licensed marriage and family counselors, certified school social workers, early childhood educators, and clinical psychologists. Children's Aid and Family Services has been serving the communities of New Jersey since 1899. The organization's services include adoption, foster care, group homes, child care, counseling services and educational programs and workshops.
