Broadwater Academy is a coeducational, college preparatory day school, providing educational and extracurricular programs to students from grades pre-kindergarten through 12. The school is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools. The curriculum offered includes math, science, history, social studies, computer, English, art and physical education. The school offers various sporting opportunities to its students, such as football, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, crew and iron Vikings. Various clubs and extracurricular activities offered by the school include drama, beta club, yearbook, forensics, community service, school newspaper and literary magazine. Broadwater Academy is located in Exmore, Va.
