Borden Perlman Insurance started business as two separate companies, Perlman Insurance and the W.S. Borden Company. The two companies merged to form Borden Perlman Insurance in 1996 and now offer an array of services such as business insurance, personal insurance and sports insurance. The company, located in Lawrenceville, N.J., with an executive office in Trenton, N.J., represents more than 30 major insurance companies such as ACE, AIG, Chubb Group, Cigna, CNA, CPA Gold, Cumberland Mutual, Evanston, Executive Risk, Fidelity and Deposit, Guard Insurance Group, Gulf Insurance, Harleysville, Hartford, Lloyds, Mercer Mutual and MIIX.
