I consider it my primarily responsibility to honestly and directly assist my patients in their health and healing. I think of myself as a partner for my patients, helping them through the maze of available treatment options (including holding off or discontinuing treatment if it is unnecessary) and guided by current medical evidence and, more importantly, their own preferences.
