- Dental CareDental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.
- VaccinationOur plans are designed to provide comprehensive coverage for all of your pet’s needs, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and more.
- Nutritional CounselingObesity is a common problem among pets, as it can be easy to over-feed a pet that knows how to beg. But being overweight is a serious problem for animals, and can cause real health problems as they get older. With proper diet and exercise, all pets should be able to meet their dietary needs and be within a healthy weight range.
- Comprehensive Examination
- Parasites Treatment and ControlIf your pet is due for vaccines, they will be given at this time. If a Heartworm test is due, then a small amount of blood will be drawn from a leg. This is a very tiny needle and amount. This test takes approximately 10 minutes to run. Once the heartworm test is done and if negative then the Tech/Asst. will return with any instructions the doctor might have and prevention for taking home. If it is positive, then the doctor will come in and go over the treatment options.
