Evans School is operated by the Vernon Parish School District and is located in Evans, La. The school provides academic and social education to students from prekindergarten through grade 12. It has various clubs and groups, such as the National Honor Society, character counts and the Future Business Leaders of America. The school offers a range of sports activities that include cross country, basketball, baseball, softball, track and cheerleading. It has a library that offers an accelerated reader program for the overall development of the students. In addition, the school has a counseling department that provides information in regards to career planning and scholarships. Evans School offers classes in various subjects that include special education, speech, fine arts, business, math, science, social studies and physical education.
