I began to see Mr. Corbett when my former acupuncturist, a very gifted healer left town. I was being treated primarily for irritable bowel. I can say that he presents himself well. After a month or so of seeing him, my condition worsened. He decided acupuncture was not right for me. Well, it always had been before! He then prescribed me Chinese herbs formulated by him in his office. Within two days, I literally felt like someone hit me in the stomach with a baseball bat. Mr. Corbett also became very controlling during the course of my visits; not just around my diet, but my physical appearance, the feng shui of my home (as described to him), etc. I found him to be quite insulting. I chose to stop seeing him. At the very least, he never hurt me with the needles. I think that either Zachary C. is an incompetent practiciotioner of TCM or he sabatoged our professional relationship because he disliked my dreadlocks and "hippie" appearance.
