Dirty and hairy soup. Lok Yaun has been my favorite Chinese restaurant in Eugene. But it has gone downhill. First the waitress never greets us and acted like she had better things to do. Next the waitress brought us extra plates that were extremely dirty. Then my daughter got her egg flower soup just to find hair in it. When I asked for the manager she didn't even apologize but offered to get her a new soup. When I asked if it was out of the same pot as the original soup the manager looked annoyed and replied with of course we only have one. We declined a new bowl of hairy soup. Not once did we get a apology and to top it off the waitress tried to charge me for my daughter hairy soup. I don't think we will be going back.

Fresh food, good value. It's frequently busy, which suggests a lot of return customers.

20 something dollars will feed 2 ppl for that night and leftovers the next day. delicious!!!

Took 24 min and 43 secs to even take a drink order. Dirty does not describe our seating area. 52 min to get our food!!! Food was decent but not worth the wait. Don't eat here! Worst service in town!!

I am pretty picky when it comes to Chinese food, I have tasted Chinese food at most area reataurants. We LOVE this place.The food is fresh, fast and ample,the service is great.Lunch deals are so much better than any fast food place as the price. You really get great tasting food at a reasonable priceI order Asparagus Chicken in black bean sauce with steammed white rice $5.49, my husband gets the special of the day $3.25 this includes soup hot tea and the main meal (fortune cookie too!). Yes two complete wonderful meals for under $10. We have heafty appetites but the servings are so ample we take leftovers home for another meal. The staff always have smiles and warm welcomes and if you are a regular,they already remember who you are and what you usually order!The place is always crowded with loyal customrs and people who get take out. Lok Yaun gives you so much food you need a take out carton. Their daily special is incredible and always a great deal eatin or takeout.

A wonderful place to eat. there is a waiting period to get a table on some evenings. Would by nice if they could add new table space.

I have been going to Lok Yaun for over 23 years and love it. It is the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. I have tried other Chinese restaurants, none compare to Lok Yaun.
