Churchill High School is a public high school serving students in grades nine through 12. It offers classes in language arts, math, science, social studies, English, Spanish and physical education. Its Rachel Carson Center for Natural Resources is a two-year optional program that integrates science, social studies and language arts using the study of watersheds. It encourages students to participate in student assemblies, career opportunities, athletics, student leadership, arts, music and theater, student publications and social events. The school s animation club involves Japanese cartooning, where students watch animation films and talk about what they liked about them. Its library has a subscription to various online databases, including EbscoHost. Churchill High School has an enrollment of more than 1,300 students and is located in Eugene, Ore.
