Meadowlark Elementary School offers a range of educational programs to more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade five. Located in Eugene, Ore., its curriculum includes language arts, math, art, science and English. It is a part of Eugene School District 4J, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools. The school district was founded in 1854 and serves over 17,000 students. The school also organizes parent-teacher meetings that encourage parental involvement in children's education. It maintains a library and media center that stocks books, periodicals, and instructional and reference materials. In addition, the school organizes a range of athletic activities that includes football, basketball, volleyball, cross-country, and track and field.
