The Strong Tool Company was founded in 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio. The initial business was focused on cutting tools for the metalworking industry; abrasives. Machine repair and overhaul supplies later added to the available product lines. Strong Tool became one of the larger distributorships in the Cleveland area, with field sales personnel developing a reputation for technical excellence and unparalleled customer service. It services a large array of end markets, including biomedical, aerospace, automotive, service and government. Strong Tool Company has branch offices throughout Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Pennsylvania.
