Essex High School offers various programs to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as mathematics, English, social science, American history, fine arts, physical education, and family and consumer sciences. The school also offers courses in fashion and textile design, computer animation, photography, world literature and music. It provides career counseling, scholarships, tutorial assistance, online referrals and information on various subjects. The school has a facility for sports, including softball, basketball, track, soccer and tennis. Its media center provides a wide range of multimedia tools. Additionally, the school offers vocational training and technical education in wielding and metal fabrication, mechanical engineering and health care technology. Its campus is located in Essex Junction, Vt.
