L. R. Green Elementary School offers educational instruction to students in grades kindergarten through five. The school has an enrollment of more than 700 students and offers a variety of reading support teams and programs. It offers a variety of special education classes for talented and gifted students. It teaches a variety of subjects, including mathematics, social studies, science and technology, computer science, health education, English, arts and crafts, music and physical education. The school s library has a wide collection of fiction and nonfiction books, subject books, magazines and reference material for teachers. Its parent-teacher association sponsors various family events and academic enrichment programs throughout the school year. L. R. Green Elementary School is a part of the Escondido Union Elementary School District and is located in Escondido, Calif.
