Erlanger Fire and Emergency Medical Services, established in 1904, offers fire protection and emergency services to residents of city of Erlanger in Kentucky. It protects life, property and the environment from fire and other natural disasters, such as explosions, vehicle accidents, hazardous materials, incidents and hazardous conditions. The services offered by the department include rescue operations, fire code enforcement, life safety regulations, fire cause investigations and safety information. It also provides training and public educational programs in general safety, emergency response and life saving techniques and has a medical division that provides medical ambulatory services to patients. The department has its administrative office located in Erlanger, Ky.
