About Kidder Wachter Architecture & Design was founded on May 1, 2005 as a partnership between Jeff Kidder AIA and Richard F. Wachter II. The partners share a common vision and philosophy about architectural design and its impact on the community. This partnership is an expansion of Kidder Architects, a sole proprietorship that was founded on January 1, 2003. Our firm has established itself as a leader in design due to the wide experience of our staff on a local and international level. We strive to maintain an attention to detail throughout the design process in order to produce buildings of exceptional quality and satisfied clients. As natives of Erie County, both partners are committed to the region and have chosen to focus on all types of projects within their community. These projects range from small to large existing buildings and new construction. The firm's prior work includes residential and institutional design as well as urban planning and interiors. Kidder WachterArchitecture & Design desires to be more than simply designers of buildings, but designers of community through good architecture. Kidder WachterArchitecture & Design has developed a network of specialists from around the country that may be called upon for unique projects.

Currently we are working with Mr Kidder and Mr Daley for a new building for our company. Highly recommended. They took the the time to explain how complicated construction can be. I am glad they are in our corner.

My wife and I called Chip Wachter about two years ago to help us with designing our home. They were incredibly helpful, and we love how it all turned out. They probably saved us thousands during construction. I would definitely recommend using them to anyone.
