Ephrata Recreation Center, located in Ephrata, Pa., and founded in 1951, is a nonprofit organization that provides recreational services to customers. The company is funded by citizens, businesses and charitable foundations throughout Ephrata. It is spread over an area of more than 65,000-square-feet and has a team of support staff that serves more than 11,000 people. Ephrata Recreation Center provides a variety of facilities, such as pool, gymnasium, and fitness rooms that offer billiards, pingpong, air hockey and a television lounge. The center also offers saunas and steam rooms, whirlpool and men's and women's locker rooms. It additionally offers programs including aerobic and aquatic fitness, karate, preschool and Yoga. Ephrata Recreation Center also organizes sport leagues, such as baseball, basketball, football, softball, swimming and men's and women s volleyball.
