Founded in 1992, Sunrise Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides Title I and special education programs. It offers classes in English, math, science, social studies and language arts. Sunrise Elementary School s curriculum also features music, art and physical education. The school s parent-teacher association sponsors several family nights, field trips and special assemblies. It provides an individual achievement program that helps to meet the academic and social needs of gifted students with advanced learning abilities and interests. Sunrise Elementary School is governed by the Enumclaw School District, which also operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
