Founded in 1906, Englewood Elementary School is an educational facility that provides learning opportunities for more than 500 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, English, computer education, science and social studies. The school has a computer laboratory, gymnasium and library. Englewood Elementary School also conducts special education classes and offers an accelerated reader program. It provides transportation and food services. The school also offers after-school and summer enrichment programs. Englewood Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization and conducts basketball and softball sports activities. It is a part of the McMinn County School System, which operates several elementary and high schools.
