- Colon CancerScreening Colonoscopies – The surgeons at SurgOne collectively perform thousands of colonoscopies. Screening colonoscopies are the recommended for men and women every 10 years, starting at age 45 if they a have no risk factors for colon cancer. Colonoscopies are the most effective way to find colon and rectal cancer early. When found early, cancerous polyps can often be removed endoscopically.
- EndoscopyOur surgeons completed their training in general surgery and then went on to highly focused and specialized fellowship training in minimally invasive esophageal and stomach surgery. The team at SurgOne is also trained in advanced interventional endoscopy techniques that allow them to diagnose, medically manage or surgically repair conditions of the esophagus and stomach. This allows patients to go to just one office for all their diagnostic and therapeutic care. Our team sees a high volume of these conditions, which is important because data shows that when these specialized surgeries are done by an expert with a lot of experience, the outcomes are significantly better. Our surgeons track their outcomes closely and publish them nationally. They are also committed to training the next generation of foregut surgeons through an accredited fellowship program.

These implants are placed near a sacral nerve at the lower back. These implants can be placed through a minimally invasive surgery after a temporary testing phase to confirm improvement from the stimulation. Both Axonics F15 and Medtronic Interstim X SNM implants are offered by Dr. Rogers after shared decision making.

- Reconstructive SurgerySkin Cancer – Surgery is a common treatment for skin cancer. Our surgeons remove many types of skin cancers and lesions – basal call and squamous cell cancers and melanoma, are all best treated by removing the cancer and some of the surrounding healthy tissue. They also often biopsy a sentinel lymph node to see if the cancer has spread locally. Our team can provide reconstructive surgery and may also partner with a plastic surgeon for reconstruction based on the location of the tumor.
- BotoxBotox Bladder Injections– Botox injections in the bladder muscle can be highly effective in alleviating OAB. This option is delivered using a small scope briefly inserted into the bladder though the urethra. Reinjection is required to maintain relief roughly every 6 months.
- Breast ReconstructionReconstruction – Our team works closely with the plastic surgeons who perform breast reconstruction and at times it may be possible to perform direct-to-implant reconstruction at the same time as the initial surgery. - Laparoscopic SurgeryGastric sleeve – This life-changing laparoscopic surgery is minimally invasive and easy to recover from. It removes approximately 2/3 of the stomach. This reduction in stomach size restricts the amount of food that individuals can eat after surgery. As the appetite declines, patients feel less hungry and take in less calories, which leads to dramatic weight loss. This surgery provides excellent weight loss; however, weight re-gain can be an issue if the stomach stretches over time. Most obese individuals are candidates for this type of surgery unless they have severe acid reflex.
