Cool little pizza joint, I stop by the other day got my single item pepperoni it was good . I will go there again.
These reviews are a bit dated, so I wanted to share my experience. It's a classic place, a staple of Englewood.. or at least used to be. I had ordered a thick crust ham and pineapple 14" pizza. Something I paid a ridiculous 22 dollars for. What do I get when I get home? A flat, thin, hard as a rock and devoid of flavor pile of garbage. The ham had no flavor, the pineapple was merely straight out of a can for which it got all of it's flavor. I was straight out robbed by this place, inedible and never worth a return trip. I can only hope it gets new owners or torn down, it's not even worth looking at as you go by.
I have eaten at Franks many times in the last 20 years and have always happy with my meal and service. My favorite is their homemade sausage so I have the sausage sandwich with cheese and bell pepper. Yum Yum what a treat.
The Pizza King has been a staple in the Englewood area for decades and with good reason. Their prices are very fair and the food is to die for. While the Frank's Special is an addiction of mine, I can't get enough of their subs and pizza burgers. The staff is always friendly and down-to-earth, as well.So, take it from me (a self-proclaimed 'foodie'): Frank's pizza is some of the best you'll ever have. Oh, and don't forget to order an old-fashioned cherry or vanille Coke while you're at it.
