Arapahoe County Public Works and Development Department provides a range of services through its primary divisions that include engineering, planning and zoning, and building. The department s engineering division provides road and bridge, traffic and transportation, capital improvements, storm water management and mapping and geographic information systems services. Its planning and zoning division oversees the orderly development of the county, as well as the open space program, zoning code enforcement and mosquito and animal control programs. The department s building division oversees the plan review, permitting and inspection of all building construction in the county. Arapahoe County Public Works and Development Department is located in Centennial, Colo.
