Kathy the groomer has always taken special care and detail to our dog. A very nice lady!!

In the past this store has always had clean cages. The tank with the green anoles was greatly in need of cleaning when I was last there. There were feces plastering nearly every surface and decoration in the cage. They deserve better than that. Also, I disagree with keeping puppies in cages all day. Dogs do not like to use the bathroom in their "den." They will instinctively relieve themselves away from where they eat and sleep. The puppies for sale there don't have that option and are forced to walk on a grate and potty next to their bed. Crates should be used for crate training, travel and sleeping. Those dogs are going to have a miserable time being taught to be house broken because they have to undo what they have grown used to. If you don't have enough room and time to have a separate potty area and a place to walk and play with their siblings, then DON'T SELL puppies!
In the past, I have purchased 2 rats from this pet store. They were both in great condition, and the 1st rat lived for 4 years which is exceptionally long for rats. The associates are always helpful and are so good at answering any question I have. Well done Fish Tales!
I bought a kitty at this pet store 2 weeks ago. On the way home he was sneezing and his eyes were watering. We had 48 hours to have a vet check him and I took hm to the vet the Monday after we got him. I was given an antibiotic to help clear up his eyes. I spent $54 that day. I took him back that Saturday because his eyes were swollen. They said he had a herpes virus and gave me an antibotic ointment to put in his eyes. He went back the Wednesday after and was given another medicine and more antiboitics. Today is Saturday. I've had the kitty two weeks now and he is blind in one eye. He got a b-12 shot today and a different ointment for his eyes. I could have taken him back the Tuesday but I had already spent more money than I paid for him at that time. Do not buy a kitty from them. The kitty iwas 4 months old on 10/04/2006 which was his 3rd visit to the vet.I have spent a lot of money on this precious kitty. the pet shop doesn't take very good care of the animals.
Sales clerk was very helpful. She offered to make a call to see if the cat he wanted would be purchased (it was on hold). We got the cat. Very friendly. Thanks.
