Dr. Li has been dedicated to her medical career for over 29 years including treating patients, teaching students and conducting medical research. She has helped to deliver high quality treatment to vast numbers of patients in China and US, and successfully treated hundreds of patients with headaches, neck pain, back pain, knee pain, sciatica, arthritis, sinus problems, irregular/painful menstruation, depression, weight control, eye diseases, or cosmetic problems. She is most recognized professional practitioner in the field of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Dr. Li earned her MD degree from Tongji Medical University in 1984 after five years of training in both Chinese and Western Medicine. She then completed three additional years of training and earned a master degree in Ophthalmology in 1994 at Beijing University. In 1999, Dr. Li extended her post-graduate training in Oriental Medicine at Samra Oriental University in United States. She also received western medical training in Cytology at UCLA. Her integration of Oriental and Western medical approach makes her an extraordinary health practitioner in the field of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Dr. Li served as a professor at Beijing University. She was invited to give presentations and lectures in Oriental Medical Research Institutes and Hospitals throughout China. She was also a key researcher to many renowned research projects sponsored by National Nature Science Foundation of China and NIH of US. Dr. Li was a visiting scholar to USC and UCLA School of Medicine and worked as a researcher in Department of Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for six years. She presented her research at worlds largest international conference held in US for many times. She has more than twenty publications published in prestigious medical journals in US, which have been cited by other authors and scientists.
