Diegueno Middle School provides academic programs, athletic activities and counseling sessions to students in grades seven and eight. The school s core curriculum includes English, mathematics, history, physical education, geography and life science. It has a visual and performing arts department that includes studio art, cartooning, acting, drams, choir, band and orchestra. Diegueno Middle School offers various foreign languages, such as French and Spanish. The school s parent-teacher-student association sponsors an integral program and parent volunteer services. It is a part of the San Dieguito Union High School District. Diegueno Middle School also provides special education programs for students with mental and physical disabilities. The school is located in Encinitas, Calif.
