General Info

Rains High School maintains various academic departments, such as career and technology education, English, science, social studies, math, and physical and health education. In addition, it conducts classes in visual arts, theater, special education programs, Spanish and the English as a Second Language program. Rains High School operates the Future Farmers of America, a student council, yearbook, and drama, math and science clubs. The school provides coaching and training in a variety of athletic activities, such as football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, and track and field. It is a part of the Rains Independent School District. Located in Emory, Texas, Rains High School has an annual enrollment of more than 450 students in grades 9 through 12.
