A Verb for Keeping Warm is an interactive space that features a retail fiber arts store, classroom, meeting place, dye garden, and production studio for artisanal naturally dyed yarn and fiber. Established in 2004 by Kristine Vejar, Fulbright scholar, and Mills College graduate, A Verb for Keeping Warm invests in Oakland’s vibrant fiber arts community
