The local auto repair shop in Emerald Hills, Maurice (the owner) does a good job for a fair price. We've used them for more than 20 years for light repairs: tires, brakes, tuneups, oil changes, etc. I don't think they are really set up for things like precision suspension work or diagnosing annoying electrical problems. But we'd highly recommend them for anything else.
