Broadway Middle School serves students in grades six through eight and offers various academic programs and extracurricular activities. Its core curriculum includes several subjects, including English, math, social studies and science. The school s music department offers band, orchestra and chorus programs. It has an auditorium, playground, library and computer and science labs. The school organizes science fairs, team study trips, reenactment day, awareness day, quiz club and winter Olympics. It also offers classes in physical education, art, instrumental and vocal music, family and consumer science, and health and wellness. The school s foreign language department provides education in Spanish and French. It offers several sports, such as baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball and wrestling. Broadway Middle School is a part of the Elmira City School District and is located in Elmira, N.Y.
