- Dental ExaminationWhen you come in for your dental check-up, you will be given an oral examination and then a cleaning. Here are a few things you can expect on your dental visit that keep your teeth healthy.
- X-raysParticular care is applied to minimize the exposure of young patients to radiation. With contemporary safeguards, the amount of radiation received in a dental x-ray examination is extremely small. The risk is negligible. In fact, dental x-rays represent a far smaller risk than an undetected and untreated dental problem.
- Teeth CleaningFor most people, a checkup and cleaning every 6 months is standard protocol. Depending on a person's dental health, however, a dental cleaning every 3 to 4 months may be recommended.
- Space MaintainersA space maintainer is a removable or fixed appliance designed to maintain an existing space. They are usually fitted to children when they have lost baby teeth early. The gap left from losing this tooth needs to be held open for the permanent tooth to erupt in its correct position.
- FillingsTooth-colored fillings are today's filling of choice. We can update old silver and gold fillings with these virtually invisible, natural looking fillings.
- VeneersVeneers are thin 'shells' that are permanently bonded to the front of your tooth to improve the appearance of teeth.
- CrownsIf the tooth is dirty, hold it by the upper part (the crown) and rinse it off with milk or contact lens solution until most of the dirt is washed away. If you don't have either of those available, then it is best to leave the tooth alone. Wiping it off with a handkerchief or your shirt may cause additional damage to the microscopic cells still on the root surface.

- Root Canal TreatmentA root canal may be needed if the decay has reached the tooth's nerve. Essentially, a root canal involves cleaning out a tooth's infected root, then filling and sealing the canal.
- DenturesA full arch denture is a removable tooth replacement option for those who need all their teeth replaced. They can be crafted to provide the characteristics (tooth shape and color) the patient desires. Advances have been made in the materials used for dentures and in the way they are designed. If you already have dentures (partial or full arch) you may be experiencing a loose fit or denture slipping. This can lead to gum sores, can affect your chewing and your speech and decrease your confidence when speaking and/or laughing with others. We can help restore your dentures to the correct fit.
- Dental ImplantsPhase 1: Using very accurate surgical techniques, an incision is made in the gum tissues and implants are placed into dimensionally controlled sites (depth and width) in the jawbone.
- Oral SurgeryHe is dedicated to researching new avenues for sleep apnea treatment both in Dentistry and Sleep Medicine and is a passionate advocate for developments in Dental Sleep Medicine and Oral Surgery. It is among his professional goals to educate dentists on their role in a team approach to treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.

- BracesMore and more adults today are seeking orthodontic treatment to improve their smile. Often times, because adults usually are more compliant in their orthodontic treatment, their results turn out far greater than with a child and/or a teen. Orthodontic treatment is not only designed to improve your smile's appearance, but also, to improve the health of your teeth and gums. If you have crowded or overlapping teeth, you may be unable to reach those areas and run the risk of severe tooth decay, gum and bone loss, irregular wear of tooth enamel and possible TMJ/TMD pain. Recent improvements in traditional braces have resulted in smaller, stronger, more efficient and less conspicuous brackets. Conventional braces with metal brackets are the most familiar; however, clear and tooth-colored ceramic and plastic brackets are now available.
- Teeth WhiteningIn a single office visit, teeth whitening performed by a dental professional will produce brighter results that are more consistent in color across all teeth.
