I put a battery back and second sump pump in my home and Jeff assisted me, he was extremely knowledgeable about the system and what I needed to do !!! I love this store and come from Hillside just because of the customer service . Thank to all the employees at Ebels Ace Hardware !!!

On Saturday, February 25, 2012, at around 6:00 PM, I stopped at Mel's ACE Hardware in Elmhurst, Illinois on 1028 South York Road because the front license plate bracket for my car was hanging by one screw. Two store employees made separate trips out to the parking lot on a cold evening to look at my car to determine exactly what I needed. The second employee, Mario, not only told me what I needed but actually removed the license plate and installed the second screw and consequently, fixed the problem. However, not only did he reinstall my front license plate bracket but he reinstalled the license plate and only charged me $.65, the price of the screw and fastener, for the entire job. Mario would not take any more money for the job. I would like to thank Mario and Mel's Ace Hardware for their excellent service that went way up and above what I expected.
