TOTAL SHAME!!! I took my mother for her 73 birthday, owner ruined the experience when I asked for the ice-cream that came under the cake on side. I was given a speech about presentation by a curt woman who said well I' m the owner and the answer is no. Then after we decided to pass on the desert and end the evening ($100 dinner for two later) The owner followed me to my car, aminated and speaking at me saying "MAYBE YOU CAN GO SOMEWHERE WHERE THEY SERVE FROZEN FOOD". I guess she didn't think that was appropriate to say IN her restaurant for other customers to hear. I have been blessed to eat at some of the finest restaurants in the world, and have never had such a disappointing experience, I went home, upset and queezy after dropping off my elderly mother who had been in tears. Happy Birthday mom... Next time we'll do Cavi's in Manchester, delicious and great customer service.

This place is off the charts! Pulling into shopping plaza, never thought there would be such a wonderful restaurant. Once we walked in we were transfered to Europe! The food was unique and fresh. The host (who I believe was one of the owners father) explained that everything is made from scratch including the bread and pasta. The antipasti board was delicious and had great presentation. We came from New Hartford on a recommendation and it was certainly worth the trip. We will be returning often.
We have been long time, every few month, customers. We went tonight with friends after a six week hiatus. The service was blah, and the menu was awful. We were very disappointed and will no longer recommend this restaurant. We also spent $150.00 for the pleasure.
We joined another couple for a birthday dinner on the Friday before Holloween 2009. We all ordered the specials of the evening. Scallops, Lamb and Filet. This was one of the best meals that I have had in a restaurant in a very long time. I and my companion had the Filet of Beef. They were cooked to perfection as requested. I also tasted my friend's Scallop meal which was exceptional. The accompaniments to the main entr'ee were absolutely perfect. I did not try the Lamb Trio, however, our friend thought very highly of two of the three and stated he just did not care for the third form. Coffee and dessert were also exceptional. We felt the price of 190.00 (before tip) for dinner, wine, beer, dessert, coffee with liqueur for 4 was a very reasonable price. Our server was also exceptional and the Chef/Owner greeted us along with his wife/Owner who is the hostess. We will be returning for my birthday in January, even if it snows. What a true pleasure it was to visit this lovely cozy place. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Best handmade linguini I've had since 1983, and probably the best olive foccacia I have EVER tasted. Amazingly wonderful place in terms of ambience, selection, food quality, and kindness of the host staff. You won't believe it as you drive by-- it's in a strip mall across the road from a jeep dealership! Even in France this would be a restaurant with stars. -- WJ Gordon
Trattoria da Lepri in Ellington is a dream come true to the residents in this area. The food is outstanding! Each dish is made to order with all fresh ingrediants, the pasta is made in house, along with all their breads. It is quaint and comfortable with excellent fine dining service.
