Ellijay Elementary School is a coeducational institution that provides academic instruction to students in grades three through five. The school has a team of counselors who provide classroom guidance lessons that emphasize on character and safety education, crisis management and violence prevention. It offers an accelerated reader program that is used to monitor and guide reading practice of students and help them in improving reading abilities. The school offers a range of academic courses, such as art, special education, health, communication skills, math, science, social studies, technology and physical education. Ellijay Elementary School is affiliated with Gilmer County School System and is located in Ellijay, Ga.
