I found a great selection of dresses there in a range of sizes. They really worked with me and my budget to help me find the perfect dress at a reasonable price. I'd only tried on 3 dresses before I found IT. I did not feel bullied to buy right then and there--like I did at other bridal shops. But it was so perfect for me, I bought it! I did not feel pressure to buy a veil either--she helped me try on a few. I mentioned possibly waiting until my ordered dress came in. She didn't look offended. I did wind up finding the perfect veil there too. All and all, I thought it was a great experience. I picked up the dress only one month later and it barely needs any alterations at all because they measured me perfectly. This part of planning has been the least stressful. Try this shop. Work with the owner's daughter--she's great!

I purchased my dress from Venus Bridal Collection and I could not have been any happier! I went to every bridal shop in Maryland but could not find the right dress. Once I stepped foot into the store i was greeted and was immediately taken care of. they had a great selection and the employees were patient and very helpful. i had to get a lot of alterations done on my dress due to the fact i had lost so much weight and the tailor did a wonderful job. i also purchased my veil, shoes, jewelery, bridesmaids, and my mother purchased her dress there also. Everyone was extremely happy with the service at Venus. I recommend this to the future brides. It was an experience i will never forget.

I went to Venus Bridal, on my search for the perfect dress for my destination wedding. When I walked in, I was greeted by a smiling sales girl and what appeared to be her father and uncle at the front desk. That's where the customer service stopped. She told me to go pick out some dresses I liked, which I did.She never asked me what I was looking for, what type of wedding I was having or anything. She seemed uninterested in really helping me. She did assist me with trying on my dress and told me to go look in the mirror. So I stood on the pedestal and sadly, she didn't even bother to spread out the train for me, consult me, or anything. She seemed almost hurried to get rid of me. It made me slightly uncomfortable. Even though I liked one of the dresses, I'd rather give my money to another shop, one who actually wants my business.

I bought my wedding dress from Venus Bridal and it was the dress of my dreams! After visiting seven other bridal salons in the VA-MD-DC area, I finally found the dress at Venus. Their dress selection and service are excellent. They are very attentive to the bride: the salesperson was able to alter my dress and make the bustle exactly how I wanted it. I also really enjoyed the set-up of the shop- it is a great atmosphere to try on wedding dresses. I highly recommend this place to all future brides!

The shop is lovely, spacious. The owners are patient and supportive - plus all alterations are done on the premises - no worries about your dress getting lost. So enjoy some tea (they served us hot tea) - relax and enjoy getting the dress of your dreams!

I just received my bridesmaid dress from this store, 4 months after ordering it, and it's about 3 sizes too large. The salesperson was rude to the bride on multiple occasions, and all of the bridesmaid dresses are considerably too large. The store also does alterations, and I can only assume that the dresses were ordered too large to create extra business. The salesperson also refused to give any estimation of when the dresses would arrive, only saying "I told you it would take a while." I would reccomend looking elsewhere for your dresses!
