This gold dealer is so arrogant and conceited it is unbelievable. With his face he has a lot of nerve!! I walked into the door and said oh good I found you. He IMMEDATELY replied well I try to make it as easy as possible with my name clearly on the building and flags outside, talking down to me as I were an imbecile! First off, myself having my own business for over 30 years, that is NOT the way to talk to any customer. I proceeded to show the owner my coins, whereupon he immediately stated “well you know they could be fake”, just because they are encased, have numbers I have personally certified, he arrogantly sated …yes but they could still be fake. He then sated well looks like this is going nowhere so you can take your coins and leave. It was simply unbelievable!! I assumed he talked down to me because I was a woman, he definitely has some sort of mental problem… MY SUGGESTION, ESPECIALLY WOMEN, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SO CALLED LEGITIMATE COMPANY!
They claim to pay top dollar for silver and gold... what a joke! I was quoted between 60% to 80% spot price for silver bullion, and those are APMEX bars still sealed in sheets of 20. A reasonable premium would have been around 10% under spot.
Do yourself a favor and find another buyer. I found one in Eldersburg... if you don't mind making a drive, I suggest looking up Liberty Gold & Coin Exchange... George pays right about spot price and I've bought and sold from him a couple times now.
Love Reyes Jewelry Exchange. I have sold several pieces of gold at Reyes. After visiting a couple different gold buyers before Reyes, his price was always the highest. I have stopped shopping around at other gold buyers and now just go directly to David whenever I want to get rid of some of my gold. He pays top dollar!
