- Pediatric CareAdult & pediatric rheumatology) graduated from University of Maryland Medical School in 1986 and completed his Residency/Fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He has been board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adult Rheumatology, and Pediatric Rheumatology and has recently recertified in Pediatric Rheumatology. In addition to 30 years working for this practice, Dr. George had been the head of the Pediatric Rheumatology at University of Maryland from 1996 through 2013. He provides pediatric rheumatology consulting for inpatients at Sinai hospital. Dr George has been repeatedly voted a Top Doctor in the Baltimore magazine.
- Primary CareIf necessary, we may also perform anesthetized removal of joint fluid (arthrocentesis) for fluid analysis and microscopic examination including crystal analysis. We also interpret bone density (DEXA) testing in light of comorbidities and medications and can send a detailed osteoporosis report including recommendations to your primary care physician.

This is an imaging method that does not use X-rays and allows your specialist to visualize the inflamed joints, tendons and bone structures. Ultrasonography allows the physician to direct a needle into a joint, bursa, or other fluid collection in order to remove fluid or provide a therapeutic injection.
