Ellerbe Middle School, also known as EMS, is an educational institution that offers a variety of academic options to students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 210 students. Its curriculum includes English, math, art, physical education, and family and consumer science. Ellerbe Middle School provides nursing, food and guidance counseling services. The school also offers various athletic activities, such as basketball, soccer and softball. It maintains a parent-teacher association that encourages parental involvement in children s education.
