      Love Dr McIlveen

      I met with Dr. McIlveen when I learned about NCW&W from a friend. I was so impressed with his knowledge and caring. He took the time to listen and explain to me why and how the program worked. It was super easy and non-judgemental. I would recommend Dr. McIlveen and this program to anyone who truly desires to lose weight in a positive environment.

      Peter McIlveen, MD, FACOG, ABOM, is a board-certified physician with nearly two decades of training and experience in obesity medicine. North Carolina Weight & Wellness of Elkin and Cornelius, North Carolina, is the culmination of years of successful weight loss care and counseling for men and women in and around Winston-Salem.Dr. McIlveen earned a bachelors degree from Duke University in 1984, where he earned the Duke University Presidents Senior Leadership Award. In 1987, he received a masters degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before pursuing a career in medicine.In 1999, Dr. McIlveen earned a medical degree from the University of Connecticut. Four years later, he completed a residency at the Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. McIlveen is one of the few board certified obesity medicine specialists in the greater Winston-Salem area.The process of losing weight can be overwhelming.
